Volunteer Celebration Event – Wednesday 9th November
On Wednesday 9th of November, we invited our wonderful volunteers down for a celebration event to say thanks them for their continued support of the centre and all the hard work they do to keep it running. The JPC relies on the time and dedication that our volunteers provide and so it’s important that we can show our appreciation with drinks and nibbles while some of our board members spin some records wile our office staff work the bar for the night.
JPC Volunteers help with so many important aspects of the running of the John Peel Centre whether it’s running the bar during live events, selling tickets on the box office, scanning tickets, fundraising, finding new acts, putting up posters and even cleaning! If you have a love for culture and live events, and some time to spare then we’d love to hear from you!
