JUBILANT!

The John Peel Centre is excited to again be part of this year’s Jubilant! festival – running from the 7th to the 24th of June.

Jubilant! is a mini youth arts festival in Stowmarket, celebrating the creativity of local school children and young people with cultural venues around the town.

Talented East Anglian artists have been working with students from 10 local schools to build exciting creative projects. There’s going to be performances, exhibitions, audio experiences and short films at cultural venues in Stowmarket throughout Festival week.

Friday 9 June, 1.30-1.40pm we are hosting ‘Transition Into Tomorrow’ A Flash Mob – Live Performance by students of Cedars Park Primary – (all welcome)

“Transition Into Tomorrow” is a flash mob theatre performance created by Reflex Theatre and Cedars Park Primary pupils, exploring how they feel about change, what they expect to happen in the future and what changes they want to see happen to make a better world. Friday 9th June, 1.30PM, outside the John Peel Centre on Stowmarket High Street. Led by Callan Durrant – Theatre Maker
