Are you passionate about music and the arts and looking to gain experience in the live events industry?
Do you want to book artists and schedule events for a vibrant grassroots live venue in Suffolk?
Do you want to meet new people and be part of a dynamic and dedicated team?
If this is you, the John Peel Centre wants you to join their Events team.
As a Programming and Events Volunteer, you’ll research and reach out to emerging local and national artists and help us put together a full schedule of events across a diverse range of genres. You will play a key role in determining the future direction of the JPC, helping us attract new artists and audiences, and maintaining and enhancing the venue’s existing reputation.
Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do, and we want to make sure you get the most out of your experience with us. We maintain a supportive and welcoming environment at the JPC, and we aim to provide you with opportunities for personal and professional growth. As well as direct experience in programming live arts and music, you will have the chance to network and make connections within the industry.
This is a flexible position, with 4-8 hours being the usual commitment – but if you chose to do more, we would never complain!
