The popular John Peel Centre ‘Whole Shebang’ is coming back with added social isolation. The Open Mic event where almost anything goes (although we do draw the line at fire, nudity and animal acts) is making a come back! All with the aid of modern technology. We can promise entertainment and watching on a screen will not disappoint, the experience of fear and relief will be real!
So, all you performers out there whether it is singing, playing, juggling, dancing, reading poetry, interesting prose, exotic bird mating call impersonations, magic or whatever talent you want to show off (with the above provisos) send us a video filmed especially for this night. You can send us up to three performances of 3 to 5 minutes long, though they must be your own original material (due to copyright restrictions). We will compile the submissions into our second (hopefully of many) ‘Whole Shebang @ Home’ programme. The wearing of ‘interesting’ hats is encouraged!
Anyone interested in taking part, please upload your video to a file sharing location (eg WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc), and send the link to email@example.com before 11th September.
Follow us on our Facebook page on the 25th September to watch the talent that Suffolk has to offer!
