With support from Barking Poets

Formed by brothers George and Johnny Marriott, PET NEEDS are a punk fuelled melodic rock four-piece from Colchester. Their debut album ‘Fractured Party Music’ out now on Xtra Mile Recordings was produced by Tom Donovan and mixed and mastered by friend and fan Frank Turner. It is a clutch of anti-anthems inspired by the disastrous job interviews, self-destruction and river journeys on inflatable kayaks that had defined their lives so far.

“Rough and tumble power-punk with bite” VIVE LE ROCK
“hard, energetic, spiky songs, stuffed with attitude” THE DAILY MIRROR / DAILY EXPRESS
“a masterclass on how to commit a high-octane atmosphere to record, with screeching guitars and
high-energy vocals bringing that classic punk rock style to life” DORK
“a hugely invigorating record” PUNKTASTIC
“full on discordant punk rock” THE PUNK SITE • 4/5

Barking Poets are a Melodic Punk-Rock band based in London and founded in 2019 by four experienced musicians from the London, Bristol and Dublin underground scenes.

“Memorable, historical and unapologetic. Barking Poets are a growing asset to London’s Punk scene. Crank the volume up to 11 and listen to a true band breathe energy over their powerful music. Barking Poets echo their concerns of politics and important topics within their music”. Chloe Mogg (RGM)

★★★★★ “London Punk-rockers Barking Poets sound immense on catchy debut single. The band’s energy feels unmistakably fresh and invigorating”. Captured Howls
