Building Control Visit

We had our first visit from Matt from Mid Suffolk Building Control yesterday, we discussed and agreed the route for the drainage would take from the new toilet to the existing foul manhole, this has been the big unknown for us on the project until we started on site and could investigate the possibilities. It was agreed that we would core through the wall under the stairs and into the services void between the existing JPC and the former bank, then form a connection by breaking into the benching in the manhole.  We also discussed the layout of the disabled access toilet and the structural work to the door opening.”

Leon from ESP hard at work relocating the electrical services to make way for the new opening for the door to the disabled access toilet.”
