If you had to take a long journey away from home and you could only take one item with you – what would it be? This is the decision facing our young hero in this story of human migration.
Follow the story of nameless child who is told by her mother that she is not safe in her home and must flee. Join her as she goes from her troubled homeland across mountains and seas in search of a place of sanctuary.
Brought to the John Peel Centre as part of Bury St. Edmund’s Theatre Royal’s Once Upon A Festival, this is a journey from one side of the world to another. An adventure where children imagine themselves as the hero and ask themselves how they would cope in this situation?
This show is aimed at children aged 7 to 11 years old.
The performance is scheduled to start at 2pm, so we aim to open the doors at approx. 1.30pm. The duration is 45 minutes.
Tickets are £5 for children, £3 for adults. Available online from WeGotTickets (booking fee applies), or from the John Peel Centre Box Office on 01449 774678 (open 10am to 2pm weekdays, closed bank holidays).
